The silver brazing solder AG104 L-Ag45Sn is particularly suitable for brazing drinking water installations and for use at low temperatures.
It is also used for brazing steel, malleable cast iron, copper, copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys.
Metal fumes generated during the soldering process are not harmful to health.
Tips for working with Silver Brazing Solder AG 104 (AG 145) L-Ag45Sn
- Clean the brazing point from oxide layers, scale, slag, oils and greases
- Bare solder: Apply sufficient flux to the brazing point and surrounding area; we recommend FELDER flux for silver solders “CuFe P“ or “CuFe No. 1“.
- Heat the workpiece to a working temperature of 670°C and melt the solder
