The silver brazing solder AG105 L-Ag40Sn is particularly suitable for brazing steel, malleable cast iron, copper and copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys.
It is also used in medical and food technology due to its high chemical purity.
Pipelines carrying technical gases such as hydrogen, nitrogen, CO2 or oxygen, as well as noble gases like argon or helium, can also be soldered.
Metal fumes generated during the soldering process are not harmful to health.
Tips for working with Silver Brazing Solder AG 105 (AG 140) L-Ag40Sn
- Clean the soldering point of oxide layers, scale, slag, oils, and greases
- Heat the workpiece to a working temperature of 690°C and melt the solder
