Oerlikon Carbofil 1A welding wire for general multi-pass welding applications in specific areas. For MAG welding. Particularly suitable for sheet metal applications. Low-spatter material transfer in short and spray arc. Impact toughness down to -40 °C. Good wetting of the weld flank. Fine-droplet material transfer.
Easy ignition and re-ignition.
Maximum sheet thickness 16 mm, for fillet welds maximum sheet thickness 30 mm, leg length maximum 10 mm.
General: Suitable for unalloyed and low-alloyed steels or cast steel up to 460 N/mm² yield strength. Can be used with CO2 and Ar/CO2 or Ar/CO2/O2 mixed gas.
