High-strength, cellulose-coated stick electrode for downhill welding in large-diameter pipeline construction. Compared to uphill welding, it offers significantly higher economic efficiency.

Optimally suited for hot pass, fill, and cap welds on high-strength pipe steels.

The BÖHLER FOX CEL 90 meets the highest quality requirements in pipeline construction and impresses with a very intense, fine-droplet melting behavior as well as excellent toughness properties. It is also resistant to changing weather conditions.

Furthermore, the electrode is suitable for use in sour gas environments (HIC test according to NACE TM-02-84). Test results for the SSC test are also available.
