Description: 

OK GoldRox is a versatile rutile-cellulose electrode suitable for all welding positions, including vertical-down (PG) and overhead (PE) positions. It offers excellent ignition and re-ignition characteristics and bridges gaps well, making it ideal for tack welding. The arc is very stable and produces few spatter, and the electrode is insensitive to porosity, even when working with primer and scale. It is particularly easy to handle, making it suitable for both DIY enthusiasts and experienced welders. The electrode can be used with all types of current, with welding preferably performed at the negative pole, but also possible at the positive pole and with welding transformers with a minimum open-circuit voltage of 50 V. The slag is easily removable, reducing cleaning effort. The electrode is recommended for applications in metal construction, light steel construction, tank construction, and shipbuilding as a tack and assembly electrode. The characteristic yellow coating with an ignition aid makes OK GoldRox easily recognizable. It is available in various packaging sizes, all of which are fully recyclable.
