ESAB OK Flux 10.71 – Neutral SAW Flux for Multipass Welding
- 25 kg bag
- Article No. 1071000200
The ESAB OK Flux 10.71 is a neutral, bonded (agglomerated) welding flux for submerged arc welding (SAW) of unalloyed and low-alloy steels. It is primarily designed for multipass butt and fillet welds and offers very high process stability in automated welding applications.
The flux is suitable for AC and DC operation, single and multi-wire systems, and currents up to 1000 A. It is characterized by stable arc guidance, uniform penetration, and easily detachable slag.
Not recommended for applications with heavily rusted or heavily scaled base materials.
Typical Application Areas
- Steel and plant construction
- Bridge construction
- Heavy machinery and vehicle construction
- Pipe and pipeline manufacturing
- General structural welding
