TIG Rods Böhler Thermanit A-318
Böhler Thermanit A-318 TIG rods, type 318 (mod.) / 19 12 3 Nb, are used for joining and surfacing welds on identical and similar – stabilized and non-stabilized – austenitic CrNi(N)- and CrNiMo(N)-steels/cast steel grades. These rods offer very high hot cracking and corrosion resistance, achieved through precisely adjusted chemical analysis. They can be used at operating temperatures down to -120°C, and the maximum operating temperature is 400°C.
